Materials that enhance spaces for the long term
The quality of a space shows in the details — and begins with the choice of materials. We rely on selected timbers, premium glass and precision metal profiles that not only look beautiful but endure for decades.
A premium interior stands or falls with its materials. That is why we select every timber, every glass pane and every profile with care — according to criteria that go beyond the first impression: durability, workability, sustainability and aesthetics. Learn what we pay attention to and why the choice of materials makes the decisive difference.
Wood Quality
Selected timbers for discerning floors and built-ins
European oak as the foundation
Our most-used wood: European oak from sustainable forestry. A hardwood with pronounced grain, high dimensional stability and natural resistance — ideal for parquet, plank flooring and interior fit-out.
Ash, walnut and other species
Depending on the project, we also use ash for light, lively floors, walnut for dark, warm accents or larch for rustic surfaces. The wood species is chosen to match the room and your aesthetic vision.
Certified origin
We source our wood from suppliers who work to FSC or PEFC standards. This ensures every board comes from responsible forestry — traceable and transparent.
Surface Treatment
The right surface for protection and character
Natural oils and hard oils
Oiled surfaces penetrate deep into the wood and protect from within. They emphasise the natural grain, feel pleasant and can be spot-repaired. Our oils are solvent-free and safe for living spaces.
Lacquers and sealants
For heavily used surfaces, lacquers provide robust surface protection. We use water-based lacquers in various sheen levels — from satin matt to high gloss — depending on the desired look and load.
Special treatments
Smoking, brushing, liming or thermal treatment: these processes naturally alter the colour and texture of the wood. The result: individual surfaces that give the space an unmistakable character.
Glass Quality
Transparency and safety at the highest level
Toughened safety glass (ESG)
Thermally pre-stressed glass with increased impact resistance. On breaking, it shatters into small, blunt fragments rather than sharp shards. Standard for our loft doors and glass partitions — safety without compromising aesthetics.
Laminated safety glass (VSG)
Two glass panes with a tear-resistant interlayer: on breaking, the splinters adhere to the film. Ideal for floor-to-ceiling glazing, overhead use and areas with elevated safety requirements.
Functional glass
From frosted film for privacy to acoustic glass and tinted or textured variants — we choose the glass to match the function and the design intent. Every pane is made to measure.
Metal Profiles
Slender steel profiles for clean lines
Cold-rolled steel profiles
Our doors and window frames are based on cold-rolled steel profiles with minimal face width. The result: maximum glass area with the highest stability. Every profile is manufactured to the millimetre.
Powder coating of your choice
Whether classic black (RAL 9005), anthracite (RAL 7016) or a custom colour — the powder coating provides lasting protection against scratches and corrosion. The surface is easy to maintain, durable and available in matt or satin matt finishes.
Precision hardware
Hinges, handles and track systems come from leading European manufacturers. They guarantee smooth, silent operation for years — even with daily, intensive use.
Durability
Materials that prove themselves — over years and decades
We do not select materials by the lowest price, but by the best ratio of quality, lifespan and aesthetics. This pays off in the long term.
Wooden floors: 25+ year lifespan
An expertly installed and maintained solid wood floor lasts for generations. Oiled floors can be re-oiled multiple times, lacquered floors sanded and re-sealed — keeping your floor looking fresh.
Steel-glass elements: easy-care and robust
Powder-coated steel and safety glass require minimal maintenance. Occasional cleaning with a damp cloth is sufficient. The surfaces are scratch-resistant, UV-stable and retain their character over many years.
Simple care, clear instructions
After completion of every project, you receive care instructions for all installed materials from us. So you know exactly what matters — and your investment remains protected long-term.
Sustainability
Responsible use of resources
Sustainability begins with material selection and does not end at installation. We pursue a pragmatic approach: no promises we cannot keep — but concrete measures that make a difference.
Certified wood origin
Our wood comes from European, sustainably managed forestry. Wherever possible, we prefer Swiss timbers to keep transport routes short.
Durability as the most sustainable principle
The most sustainable product is one that does not need replacing. That is why we place the greatest emphasis on material quality and expert workmanship — so your floor, door or built-in lasts for decades.
Solvent-free processing
We use water-based lacquers, solvent-free oils and low-emission adhesives wherever possible. This is better for your indoor air quality and for the environment.
Execution Quality
Swiss standards in every detail
Material quality alone is not enough — what matters is how they are processed. Our standard: execution that does justice to the material.
Experienced specialists
Our craftsmen are trained floor layers, joiners and metalworkers with many years of experience. No subcontractors without quality control — we work with permanent teams we can rely on.
Standards and guidelines
We work according to the guidelines of the Swiss Flooring Association (SBV) and the relevant SIA standards. This gives you the assurance that your project is executed to recognised standards.
On-site quality control
Every project is personally accompanied by our project manager. Regular inspections during execution ensure the agreed quality is maintained down to the last detail.
Clean handover
A tidy site is part of our quality standard. At handover, we go through every detail together with you — so you can enjoy your new space from day one.
