What materials are loft doors made from?
Our loft doors are manufactured from powder-coated steel and safety glass (toughened or laminated). The steel profiles are available in various thicknesses and colours — from classic anthracite to matt black or a custom RAL colour.
Can loft doors also be installed as sliding doors?
Yes, all our models are configurable as hinged or sliding doors. Wall-mounted sliding rails save space and emphasise the industrial loft character. Ceiling-mounted variants are also possible.
How long does the production of a bespoke loft door take?
From measurement to installation, allow 6–10 weeks. Standard sizes can be delivered more quickly. We will inform you of the current timeframe during the consultation.
Are loft doors also sound-insulating?
Loft doors with double glazing offer good sound insulation (approx. 30–35 dB). For higher requirements, we recommend special glass or acoustically optimised sealing profiles — please speak to us.
What does a bespoke loft door cost?
